Studio
Entropy describes how systems fall into disorder over time. Websites do too. We work in the opposite direction: your requirements, content and ideas become a clear, fast website that still works well years from now.

About Entropic
Entropic Software is a small web design and development studio. We design and build websites for businesses, medical practices and nonprofits, host them if you like, and also develop our own product, crossfeed.
Because we’re small, you have the same contact person from the first conversation to launch. The person who talks with you about your goals also designs and builds your website.

How we work
Every project starts with a conversation about goals, audience and budget. After that, you get a fixed-price quote, so you know from the start what to expect.
We design first and build second. We refine the draft with you until it feels right. During development, we add your content and test on all devices. Finally, we show you in two short training sessions how to manage your content yourself.
We’re still there for you after launch. For example, we’ve looked after the website of the Internistische Gemeinschaftspraxis Bad Saulgau since 2023, with updates, technical changes and new features.

What matters to us
Craft
We build every website individually and pay attention to the details you only notice on a second look: clean spacing, clear error messages in forms, a focus outline that fits the design. The code is tidy enough that your website stays easy to extend years later.
Accessibility
A website should work for everyone. That’s why we plan for accessibility from the first draft, test with a keyboard and a screen reader, and follow the WCAG.
Performance
Fast websites are more pleasant to use, use less data and rank better in search. We use lean technology with Astro and leave out trackers and unnecessary scripts. Our own website runs without cookies.
Openness about AI
We only use AI when you want it and when it has a clear benefit. We tell you which services are involved, which data goes where and where the limits are. A human always has the final say.

Founder
Entropic is run by Louis Escher, a software developer and UI/UX designer from Germany. He founded Entropic Software in 2023 and has guided every project since, from the first conversation to launch. He’s also a maintainer of Astro, the framework we build our websites with, and a core maintainer of StudioCMS.
