What’s included
- Hosting in Germany. By default, your website runs on Hetzner servers in Germany. Other providers or locations are available on request.
- SSL encryption. Your website is available over HTTPS, and we renew the certificate automatically.
- Daily backups. We back up your website every day, keep the backups for 14 days and can restore them when needed.
- Security updates. We keep the server, CMS and dependencies up to date.
- Monitoring. We monitor your website’s availability and get notified if something is wrong.

All prices are final prices. No VAT is charged under the German small business rule (§ 19 UStG). You make content changes yourself in the CMS.

What “small technical changes” means
With Hosting Plus, you get 30 minutes every month for changes to your website’s technology. These are tasks that can’t be done in the CMS and can be completed in a short time.
Examples of what’s included
- Adding a field to a form
- Setting up a redirect from an old URL to a new one
- Creating a new input field in a CMS form
- Embedding a service, such as a booking widget or a map
- Adjusting spacing, colors or font sizes on an existing building block
What’s not included
- Content changes such as new text, images, pages or news items. You manage these yourself in the CMS.
- New features or page types that take more than a few minutes of development. We’ll send you a separate quote for these.
- A redesign or larger rebuilds

Setup and training
Setup for launch
If we build your website, we set up the hosting for launch. You don’t need to deal with servers, domain settings or certificates yourself.
Your domain
For your domain, you can choose. You keep it with your current registrar, and we manage the DNS settings. Or we register the domain for you and manage it. We’ll agree on what suits you best.
Two short training sessions
At launch, we show you in two short training sessions how to create, edit and publish content in the CMS. The first one covers the basics. About a week later, the second one answers the questions that came up while you worked with it. You practice directly on your own website, and everyone who will manage content later can take part. The sessions take place by video call. On request, we can also come to you on site within the region.
Guide and questions
You also get a short reference guide, as a PDF or a web page, written for your website. For the first four weeks after launch, we answer your questions by email for free. After that, we’re still happy to help and bill by the hour.

Terms
Contract period
Hosting runs in six-month periods and renews for another six months at the end of each one.
Cancellation
There’s no notice period. You can cancel any time before the next renewal date.
Switching plans
An upgrade to Hosting Plus takes effect from the next month. A downgrade to Hosting takes effect at the next six-month renewal.
Handover
While we host your website, the source code stays with us. When you cancel, you get the code and an export of your content for free and can run your website wherever you like. If you’d like help with the move, we’re happy to support you and bill by the hour.

Can you take over my existing website?
Yes. We host existing websites of all kinds, from static sites to Astro, Node apps and WordPress. We'll talk through how the move works for your website before we start.
How do I cancel?

Where are the servers?
By default, with Hetzner in Germany. If you need a different provider or location, we'll adapt to that.
