Content management
Your content belongs to you, and you should be able to change it whenever you like. Every website we build comes with a content management system. With it, you update text, images and pages yourself, without coding skills and without waiting for anyone.

How we work
Before we set up the CMS, we look at which content you change regularly. From that, we create clear input fields: one for the name, one for the photo, one for the department. That leaves little room for mistakes when you update things.
Once development is done, we show you in two short training sessions how to create, edit and publish content. The first one covers the basics. In the second one, about a week later, we answer the questions that came up in day-to-day use. You practice directly on your own website. The sessions take place by video call, or on site within the region on request.

An example from our work: the team at a medical practice manages its doctors, departments, news and patient information on its own. For urgent notices such as vacation coverage, there’s a banner they can switch on and off with one click.

Frequently asked questions
Will you make content changes for me later on?
No. You manage your content yourself, and the training prepares you well for it. We're happy to handle technical changes, such as a new field in an input form. The Hosting Plus plan includes a fixed amount of time for this every month.
Can several people manage content?
Yes. Each person gets their own account with a suitable role. EmDash has four roles: Administrator has full access, including the settings. Editor manages all content, including content from others. Author creates, edits and publishes their own content. Contributor creates content that someone with more permissions approves before it goes live.
What if I forget something after the training?
Look it up in your guide or write to us. For the first four weeks after launch, we answer your questions by email for free. After that, we're still happy to help and bill by the hour.
